Rare Aston Martin V8 Series IV “Oscar India”
We are pleased to offer for sale a rare Aston Martin V8 Series IV, also known as the "Oscar India", produced in only 291 units, with just 41 in left-hand drive configuration. A truly exceptional model that embodies British refinement and power.
Introduced in 1978, the Series IV stands out with its more luxurious presentation, meticulous craftsmanship, and premium features — including automatic transmission, perfectly suited to its grand touring vocation.
This particular example shares the same bodywork as the Vantage version, with a closed bonnet bulge, front spoiler, and sculpted rear end, all reinforcing its assertive and sporty character.
Under the bonnet lies a 5.3L V8 engine, upgraded from 345 hp in earlier versions to 380 hp, still offering impressive performance by today’s standards.
Vehicle history and condition:
This Aston Martin Oscar India is an extraordinary machine, with a timeless and muscular design, paired with a gutsy engine that will thrill any true enthusiast of the marque.

Vehicle history and condition:
- Owned by the same enthusiast for nearly 30 years, this example underwent a major service 5 years ago, with invoices totaling €6,500 available.
- The original interior is well preserved, showing a tasteful patina visible in the photo gallery.
- The bodywork and floor pans are sound. Originally delivered in dark green, the car was repainted in Canterbury Blue a few years ago. Some minor paint flaws are present.
- Originally a right-hand drive, this Aston was professionally converted to left-hand drive upon its arrival in France. The conversion is discreet and expertly done.
