Mint condition 1988 Ducati 851 Superbike Tricolore is number 156 of 206 “kit” examples produced to homologate the 851 model for World Superbike racing. The motorcycle is in the possession of the first owner who only rode it once. Afterwards, the engine stood as a decoration in the owner's office and due to his age, this man is now looking for a new owner and enthusiast for this beautiful production racer. The engine is a liquid-cooled 851cc DOHC L-twin combined with a close-ratio six-speed gearbox and dry clutch. The motorcycle is finished in the Tricolore colors of green, red and white. Equipment includes a steel trellis frame, a reinforced aluminum swingarm, Marvic 17″ magnesium wheels, Brembo brakes, adjustable Marzocchi suspension, Weber/Marelli electronic fuel injection, an electric starter and a black solo seat. This 851 Superbike KIT Tricolore is exclusively made for the track and is supplied with the original sales invoice. This motorcycle is not in our showroom and can only be viewed by appointment.
