Te koop: 1966 Ford Cortina GT – Matching Numbers – Zeer zeldzaam!

Deze Ford Cortina GT uit 1966 verkeert in uitstekende conditie en is een echte klassieker.
Dit exemplaar werd origineel geproduceerd door Ford Portugal en is daarmee een van de weinige Cortina’s met linkse besturing (LHD) af fabriek – ideaal voor de Europese markt.

Onlangs is er ruim €8.500 geïnvesteerd in een complete revisie van de originele motor, uitgevoerd door het gerenommeerde klassieke autorestauratiebedrijf Speed Centre in Geldermalsen.

De motor is opgebouwd met een Ford Burton Power fase 3 kit, waaronder:

Gesmede zuigers

Grotere kleppen

Racing nokkenas

Twee 40mm Weber carburateurs

Elektronische ontsteking

Resultaat: 120 pk en een fantastisch rijgedrag.
Sinds de revisie heeft de auto slechts 500 km gereden – de motor is dus zo goed als nieuw.

This 1966 Ford Cortina GT is in excellent condition and a true collector’s car.
This particular example was originally built by Ford Portugal and is one of the few Cortinas with factory original left-hand drive (LHD) – making it highly desirable across continental Europe.

Over €8,500 has been invested in a full rebuild of the original engine, carried out by the renowned classic car restoration specialists Speed Centre in Geldermalsen (NL).

The engine has been upgraded with a Ford Burton Power stage 3 kit, including:

Forged pistons

Bigger valves

Racing camshaft

Twin 40mm Weber carburettors

Electronic ignition

Output: 120 bhp and fantastic driving performance.
Since the rebuild, the car has only covered 500 km – the engine is practically brand new.
