Barn Find Iso Rivolta 300gt, it has been stopped for 40 years.
Certificate of authenticity from the Iso Rivolta registry. One of the 797 units produced.
It was delivered new to King Simeon of Bulgary. You can see a picture of the costumers that at this time were buying these cars.
Among them, the princes Aga Khan, who acquired two units, or Alfonso of Orleans, then resident in Rome. The King of Morocco, the president of Inter Milan Angelo Moratti, the Nobel Prize in Physics Julian Schwinger and the millionaire Barbara Hutton also bought the car.
This car appears in a report of the book Iso Rivolta written by Winston Goodfellow. There you can find some pictures when Simeon, the first owner of this special car, went to the factory to pick up this unit at the Bresso factory.
Original instruction manual and some documentation got it from Simeon.
This Iso Rivolta introduced in 1964 is a gran turismo in the original sense of the term, designed for long and memorable journeys.
In the Iso Rivolta production were involved chairman Renzo Rivolta and his colleague, former Ferrari engineer Giotto Bizzarrini.
This luxury coupe was designed by Bertone with a chassis developed by Giulio Alfieri and powered by a V8 engine from a Chevrolet Corvette, 300 horse power.
Really amazing complete project. Car is located in Madrid (Spain).
