Opis pojazdu
De Morgan Plus Six is de krachtigste Morgan van dit moment. De drie liter zescilinder motor met twin-power Turbo levert een indrukwekkende 340 pk, 500 Nm koppel en is gekoppeld aan een soepl schakelende 8-traps automaat met schakelflippers achter het stuurwiel. Hiermee sprint de lichtvoetige Morgan in slecht 4,2 seconden van 0 naar 100 km/h en bereikt een topsnelheid van maar liefst 267 km/h. Naast het ABS remsysteem is de Morgan Plus Six sinds 2023 standaard voorzien twee airbags en ESP, waardoor de auto ook assistentie verleent bij wielspin.
Door deze wijzigingen is het dashboard van de Morgan aangepast. In dit geval uitgevoerd in hoogglans zwart en voorzien van een fraaie houtafwerking aan de onderzijde. Ditzelfde hout is terug te vinden op de bovenzijde van de middentunnel. Het hart van het stuurwiel is eveneens in hoogglans zwart gespoten. De bekleding is deels leder en deels stof, wat ook een nieuw item is sinds 2023, waarbij ook de achterzijde van de stoelen met stof is bekleed. De comfort plus stoelen zijn voorzien van verwarming en ook de airconditioning ontbreekt niet. Een andere nieuwe optie die op deze Morgan is besteld is het Sennheiser audio systeem, wat gebruik maakt van nieuw ontwikkelde audiotechnieken.
De exterieurkleur is Coffee Beige metallic wat een stoer en modern uiterlijk geeft, zeker in combinatie met de 19 inch zwarte velgen, het zwarte bagagerek en de zwarte grille. De optionele sportuitlaat is voorzien van zwarte eindstukken en zorgt ervoor dat de Morgan duidelijk van zich laat horen, zeker in Sport en Sport + stand. De achterzijde van de Cibie verstralers zijn ook in carrosseriekleur gespoten. We kunnen stellen dat het deze Morgan Plus Six aan weinig zaken ontbreekt.
