Plymouth Barracuda

1965 coupe

The first pony car and that even before the Mustang. A great unadulterated icon that you can see springs from the origins of the muscle car. A very striking sexy car which causes plenty of stiff necks. The large unique curved rear window makes the model very special. The color was only used for the Barracudas of this build year and not for the regular other cars from Plymouth.

With pain in my heart, I am going to sell my 1965 Plymouth Barracuda after all. It is time for a new owner who appreciates the value of the looks. Nice rough patina and rock hard. The bottom has been re-welded and it has a 225CUI Slant 6 engine rebuilt in 2008 that runs tremendously nice with very stable compression rates (these are insightful).

The engine is also very attractive for your wallet which makes it not a problem to ride it for long rides.

The original radio has been converted to bluetooth and there is a sub amp built in. The rear subwoofer is not included.

Bought the car as a project with American title and much is new and replaced:

- Complete brake system overhaul
- New gas tank and lines
- Rebuilt carburetor
- New tires
- New bearings, gaskets et cetera

The dog dishes are not included, the original hubcaps that go with this model are.

It is start and drive with a big grin on your cheeks.

The car is on Dutch registration since June this year. Because of its originality it is no problem to register it in other countries (except for the radio with original looks every other item is 100% factory spec).
