The 997 was given an RT12-style performance upgrade with sports exhaust system by the previous owner at RUF in 2013. The power output is 620 hp, Auto Bild Sportscars has tested such a vehicle: Performance 0-100 km/h 2.7s, 0-200 km/h 9.4s Top speed according to papers 326 km/h (speedometer 340 km/h). Cost at Ruf just under €13,500 (invoice available).
