The Rolls-Royce Silver Spur was the long version with a wheelbase extended by 100 mm of the Silver Spirit and therefore offered even more space and comfort. Particularly noteworthy is the luxurious suspension, which ensured an exceptionally smooth ride. In 1984, the Silver Spur was one of the most luxurious cars of its time, earning it great recognition worldwide. Another unique feature was the nearly silent 6.75-liter V8 engine, which ran remarkably refined despite its size. As is customary with Rolls-Royce, the hood ornament 'Spirit of Ecstasy' automatically retracted when external pressure was applied.
