Opis pojazdu
Beautiful 1979 Karmann Beetle Convertible
One of the last models built in Germany before production ended.
This charming “Cox,” originally delivered to Canada in 1979, has had only three owners since new. The last owner cherished the car for over 10 years, using it exclusively on sunny days and storing it with great care.
Mechanically, the 1584cc fuel-injected engine runs perfectly. A major service was recently completed by a classic car specialist (invoice over €5,000), including a new clutch, engine seals, gearbox input seal, front shock absorbers, brake cylinders, fuel lines, engine and gearbox oil changes, spark plugs, brake system flush, steering column bearing, distributor, and more.
We have since driven over 300 km of pure enjoyment — the car needs nothing. The tires are also brand new.
The body is sound and rust-free. The floor pans are in good condition, as shown in the photo gallery.
The interior has never been restored but remains well-presented for its age. We note a small 3 cm tear in the vinyl of the driver’s seat. The soft top is recent and in excellent condition.
With its 50 hp engine — the most powerful of the Type 1 series — this Beetle is capable of long drives, although it truly shines on country roads rather than highways.
Original manual and service booklet included.
Registered as a historic vehicle (“carte grise de collection”) allowing unrestricted driving.
Fully serviced and sold with a warranty.
Trade-ins and financing available.
Delivery throughout Europe available on request.

Vehicle viewable by appointment only at Sportwagen Paris, located in Paris 15 or Saint-Ouen.
