Opis pojazdu
Volvo 240 Estate 2.0 polar, manual, from 1991, 367000 km, APK valid until 09/2024.
The car drives very well, it needs some body work and taken care of. Unfortunately I do not have space for two project cars so I have to sell it.
Body: the paint is in good condition, not faded, there is a small scratch on the fender, a chip on the door and for the rest some superficial rust that I got rid in the past with the clay bar (I can decontaminate the paint again if requested). It has a new windshield, a customized grill (but I have two original ones), and recently I fixed the lights reflector clips.
The front bumper molding needs to be installed, new clips are needed.
The interior is very good, only the door panels are cracked (but I think it's pretty common), I've changed the wheel but I have the original one, added the rev counter in the gauges and a separate clock. The shift knob is handmade in wood.
Drivetrain wise, the engine runs well, I've changed the oil and filter 2000 km ago, the belt and water pump was replaced around 333000 km by the previous owner, the exhaust manifold gaskets replaced last year, I bought the intake manifold gasket but I didn't install it. The muffler unfortunately is not original, I put a straight resonator and a custom tip, but it's not annoyingly loud. I started changing all the brake system (front bearings, discs, pads, calipers and dust shields, brake fluid) last month, next is the rear (I still changed pads and disks last year), but probably the calipers will have to be changed or cleaned at least. With the new calipers and pads the car brakes very well.
I also have the 3d row seats (but they're a different colour than the interior, never used them) and, as I said, the original wheel and grills.
I also didn't install the rear plate lights because I actually wanted to restore the paint (and the car), but that's why I'm selling it, I do not have a lot of time nor my own garage where I can work on it.
